Mountaineer Autism Project’s 2017 Conference: Strategies for the Road Ahead

The purpose of this interactive conference is to bring together a diverse group of parents, providers, stakeholders and familes from around the state to learn, share and socialize.

For families, the conference aims to lessen the challenges of caring for autistic children by increasing their knowledge of ASD and discuss evidence-based, effective treatments, teaching strategies and techniques for coping while waiting for care.

For providers, the conference aims to increase the understanding of ASD by addressing such topics as ethics, sleep training, play skills and community organizing and advocacy.

Together, we'll begin to build a network of support for all of us, to improve the lives of those affected by autism in West Virginia.
